Linda, our church secretary is really resourceful and is a wealth of information. She’s always there when you need her and I wanted to show my appreciation of her by making her this Birdhouse Gift Box with an accompanying card. She is a bird lover and also a lover of dark chocolate. I added chocolate covered mints inside the gift box.

Post Cards
Decorated Box (Closed)
Add caption
Box - Complete - Undecorated
Box - Assembled
Box - Scored.
Here is the box decorated and open. I made extra Post Cards to go inside but I am not finished. I will probably give this to my sister-in-law who is in Germany. Maybe she will drop us an occasional line so that we will know what she is up to.
This is the box, closed, completed, and undecorated. All supplies are from Stampin' Up!
- Ink: Cherry Cobbler
- Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Naturals Ivory
- Ribbon: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding
- Brads: Regals (Cherry Cobbler)
- Stamps: Post Card; Designer Typeset Photopolymer
Assemble the box using strong adhesive.
This is what the completed, undecorated box looks like open.
- 8 1/2" x 11" Card Stock
- Score at 1", 5", 6", and 10"
- Turn once and score 1" on each of the remaining ends (box will have a one-inch scored border all around)
- On the long side, cut on score lines up to the score line.

Box Card
These are great for gift cards. I will use this to place a Home Depot card in for DH. Directions can be found in the Resources section on the SCS website. I used 'Sweet Pea' DSP (Stampin' Up... Retired), Early Espresso Card Stock, and Spellbinder dies for the tools. I could not find my twine so I used Ecru DMC Floss.

Masking Tape Tool Belt Box
Another Tool Belt Box based on this project from Mel Stampz's blog:
http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/0...plate-for.html
Directions:
1. Tear off pieces of masking tape and cover a sheet of 12" x 12" card stock with it.
2. Swipe the entire sheet with a brown ink pad (I used SU! Classic Chocolate Chip).
3. Take a paper towel and wipe off ink.
4. Follow project instructions on Mel's blog to complete box.

Tool Belt Box
It's been a while since I've posted but I have not been idle. I finally decided to try my hand at this neat project that I saw on Mel Stampz's Blog:
http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/05/tool-belt-box-gift-box-template-for.html
I couldn't decide on the color card stock I wanted to use so I made three, each one a different color. I used silver card stock from DCWV's Metallic Stack on the first one I'm sharing today.
