Beautiful People

Our beautiful niece has been going through some serious health issues the past few years.  She was dealt a really devastating blow this past Monday and our nephew (her husband) wanted to do something to cheer her up.  Her birthday was Friday (2/8) and he decided to put together a last-minute surprise birthday bash for her.  It was beautiful and she was caught completely off guard.

I wanted to make a really special card for her to go along with her birthday gift. Thank you, Laura, for sharing the instructions for the 'Building Block Card'.  Instructions/Directions can be found Here.  The card is really easy to make.  The most difficult thing about making it is deciding how you would like to decorate it.  I had to pull out a lot of stamp sets to find the sentiments that fit the occasion as well as the size of the stamping area.

Card Recipe:  All products are from Stampin' Up
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Island Indigo
Inks: Island Indigo, Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry, StazOn Black, VersaMark
Stamps: People Like You, Happy Watercolor, Express Yourself, Bloomin' Marvelous (Retired Sale-A-Bration), Field Flowers, hodgepodge Happiness, Vintage Labels (Retired Sale-A-Bration), Papillon Potpourri
Punches: Elegant Butterfly, Decorative Label
Stampin' Up Jewels
